Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows chamber needs directors
The Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Chamber of Commerce needs to bolster its ranks on its board of directors that runs the organization.
Anyone who wants to nominate someone for the position can do so by submitting a written request to the chamber office on Lougheed Highway and 223rd Street by Sept. 15, says a chamber release.
The position will take about five hours a month, including attendance at board meetings, monthly dinner meetings, chamber events and committee meetings.
Nomination packages can be obtained by contacting chamber executive-director Jesse Sidhu at the chamber office at 604-463-3366 or by sending an e-mail to jesse@ridgemeadowschamber.com.
The chamber points out, however, that nominating someone shouldn't come as a surprise to those involved. They have to consent to having their names put forward.
