Library technicians Jan McAusland, top, and Linda Madill, along with librarian Curtis Acton, are gearing up for the Multicultural Food and Craft Fair at the Maple Ridge Public Library in between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday for multicultural month. Free food will prepared and dished out by the student library council, the Silver House Restaurant, the Maple Ridge Japanese Language School and the Muslim prayer group that meets at the library. Over 10 food stations will be set up offering cuisine from around the world including Japanese, Chinese, Israeli, Philippines, Greek, Lebanese and Indian. Craft tables will be set up by the Family Education and Support Centre. Last year over 270 came out to the free family fair.
