Burning bright
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is an innovative initiative powered by dedicated law enforcement personnel around the world who want to help Special Olympics athletes experience acceptance, achievement and admiration through sport.
Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge are two of 30 dedicated communities across B.C. that will be participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run in order to raise awareness for Special Olympics athletes and programs in BC. Law Enforcement Officials, Special Olympics athletes and members of the community ran through Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge on Thursday, June 7.
