Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation donations top $20,000
The Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation recently received donations totalling more than $20,000.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2831 donated $1,200 towards the purchase of a new procedure chair for Ridge Meadows Hospital and a new program, Girls World, to help women and girls achieve their potential and create strong, peaceful communities.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles ladies auxiliary gave a further $1,000 towards the Girls World program.
Soroptimist International of Ridge Meadows donated $2,000 more to Girls World.
As well, Ladies from the local IODE Dewdney Chapter visited the Intensive Care Department to present a cheque for $16,500 to help purchase a new bed for the intensive care unit and a patient lift for the medical department.
