Skateboards are usually banned from being used on high school property, but an exception was made for students to skate in a secure area with the proper safety equipment at Samuel Robertson Technical School on Thursday, June 14.
Pizza was sold and helped raise $150 for the Greg Moore Youth Centre and its Skateboarding Mentorship Program.
Micky Papa put on show for the students during their lunch break. Papa is a professional skateboarder who competes all over the world. He is featured on the cover of the July edition of Concrete Skateboarding magazine.
