Is this thing on?
The Mission Amateur Radio Emergency Services group once again participated in the yearly Amateur Radio field Day event last weekend.
This year they joined in with the Maple Ridge Amateur Radio club station who were set up at a private residence in the Whonnock area.
Despite gusting winds, torrential downpours and an area-wide power outage, it was business as usual as contacts were made with other contest stations across all of North America during the 24 hour event.
