Slip-sliding
Howie English along with his daughters Rachel, 8, left, Renee, 11, right and Rebecca, 5, centre, who has down syndrome, have fun at Jungle Jac’s on Monday during a free admission day to raise money for the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. The free admission day fundraiser is a follow up to English’s Sky Walk in March. English walked from Pitt Meadows to Whistler in honour of his daughter, raising money for the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. The fundraiser raised $300 in cash and packed the children’s play centre with 150 children. Darren Walker, owner of Jungle Jac’s, is hoping to make it an annual event.
