Second Port Haney Day on Sunday
The Port Haney Neighbourhood Change Initiative, a group launched in 2010 to improve the area, is inviting everyone to Haney House on Sunday to celebrate positive changes in the neighbourhood Sunday.
The goal of the second annual Port Haney Day is to bring neighbours together to get to know one another better.
There will be live music and refreshments. Tours of Haney House will be conducted along with tours of new condos in the neighborhood.
There will be architectural drawings on display of the proposed Port Haney hotel., and a raffle for prizes donated by local businesses, including a giant heritage rocking chair.
Port Haney Day takes place from noon to 4 p.m.
