Zumbathon for a good cause

The Glenwood Elementary Parent Advisory Council is inviting anyone who would like to enjoy an evening of fun and fitness to their first annual Family Zumbathon.

The Zumbathon takes place November 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Glenwood Elementary at 21410 Glenwood Avenue.

There will be over 45 minutes of Zumba led by certified instructor Keren Perez followed by a family dance with a professional DJ.

Tickets are $5 per child, $10 per adult and $25 for a family of four and will include snacks, refreshments and a chance to win door prizes.

Ticket sales will be going towards new athletic equipment for the school with partial proceeds going to the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper Society.

Toys, non-perishable food and cash will also be collected on the day of the event on behalf of the Christmas Hamper Society.

Tickets can be ordered ahead of time at Glenwood Elementary or purchased at the door the night of the event.
