Firefighters for Families:  Maple Ridge firefighter Kevin Mikoda lets Tanner Irvine, 6, pick out a candy cane after his donation to the annual Firefighters for Families Food Drive outside Safeway in maple Ridge on Saturday. Members of the Maple Ridge department held out their boots for donations of money, toys and non-perishable food items as part of the annual charity event.
