Alisa’s Wish will be holding a fundraising event on Saturday at Centered Within Yoga.
The Alisa’s Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Centre is a first entry point for children and youth who are victims of abuse and their family.
Here they are immediately assigned a child and youth counsellor for support and they receive all the support services and programs that are available in the community.
A therapy ball workshop called Spinal Awakening and Myofascial Release will be held with 100 per cent of all funds raised going towards the Alisa’s Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Center, including wages.
This event is part of a fundraising campaign that took place during the month of June.
The two-hour therapy ball workshop takes place at 10 a.m. on June 24 at Centered Within Yoga, 200-22714 Dewdney Trunk Road.
The minimum donation is $25 and pre-registration is required.
