Sweet sounds at ACT

Join the students of Maple Ridge secondary's music department for two evenings of performance and delicious desserts at the ACT next week.

More than 300 musicians will take part in a community tradition, The concerts are sold out every year

During intermission, enjoy delicious desserts and beverages and take part in the silent auction, sponsored by many local businesses.

Each night will feature an assortment of music and song by the Maple Ridge secondary concert bands, concert choirs, jazz bands and jazz choirs. 

All proceeds raised go towards the purchase of new equipment and music, as well as fund scholarships and bursaries for music students.

• The concerts begin at 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the ACT. Tickets are $12.50 for adults or $9.50 for students and seniors. The price includes coffee, tea and desserts at intermission. To view, a complete list of sponsors visit www.ridgemusic.ca.
