Garibaldi Music presents Music for a Winter’s Eve.

Performances will include Where Are You Christmas from director Ron Howard’s movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Carol of the Bells by the school’s choir. The jazz band will be performing Fly Me To The Moon, the junior band will be performing the Canadian Shield March and the senior band will be performing selections from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast.

To end the evening the junior and senior bands will combine to create a total ensemble of more than 70 musicians to perform music from the Polar Express movie.

There will be a 50/50 draw and a Krispy Kreme doughnut sale to raise money for the school’s music program. Also coffee and hot chocolate will be available by donation.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the Garibaldi Secondary School gym at 24789 Dewdney Trunk Rd. in Maple Ridge.

Tickets are by donation.
