Jaden August is poised for another exceptional season on the links as he recently earned first place in his age category at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) season opener.
The 15-year-old Pitt Meadows golfer was one of nearly 100 youth athletes who competed at the MJT Humber College PGM Classic at University Golf Club from March 16 to 18, making it the first major MJT event of 2024.

When it was all said and done, August walked away with a score of -3, finishing seven strokes ahead of the nearest competitor.
“I think I had a great game plan coming into the tournament,” said August.
