Growop busted in Maple Ridge
Four people were arrested as police busted a marijuana grow operation in Maple Ridge early Thursday.
Ridge Meadows RCMP seized marijuana and a substantial quantity of money they believe are proceeds of crime after searching the house at 21089 201B Street.
Police entered house just after midnight and heard people inside but were unable to locate them immediately.
A police dog unit and the Emergency Response Team were called in and eventually arrested on a 31-year-old woman and three men, aged 26, 25, and 24, who were hiding in the attic of the home.
A total of 962 marijuana plants, 15 pounds of dried marijuana ready for street sale and the cash was seized.
The four suspects were kept in police custody pending a bail hearing.
