Maple Ridge may try for B.C. Summer Games
Maple Ridge should try to host the B.C. Summer Games, either in 2016 or 2018, staff are advising council.
Politicians were to vote Tuesday on whether to tell staff to prepare a bid to host the amateur event.
“It’s been ... years since we hosted the last one and 1998 was really successful,” said Maple Ridge Mayor Ernie Daykin.
