Lost donkey found
A burro who went for a wander in Maple Ridge last week has been returned to its owner.
Ridge Meadows RCMP were called last Thursday after the small donkey got loose on 132nd Avenue.
Police said passerbys managed to coax the burro onto a farm property to keep it away from traffic.
Const. Ryan Henley located the burro’s owner the next day.
Police want to thank all residents who assisted in keeping the burro safe, and the family who looked after him for 24 hours.
