Shooting in Maple Ridge
A 30-year-old man was sent to hospital early Sunday morning after a shooting at a building on 225th St. by North Avenue. Police were called to the incident just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning. The victim was taken to Ridge Meadows Hospital and has undergone surgery. His condition is currently unknown. Police have determined that the shooting occurred in the underground parking lot of a building on 225th Street. All day Sunday police tape cordoned off an underground lot at Royal Terrace while they investigated the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding the incident is being asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251.
