Minister of business at summit in Pitt Meadows

Businesses are facing some tough issues so the chamber of commerce wants to provide a few answers, at Business Summit and Trade Show, next Thursday at Meadow Gardens Golf Course.

Keynote speaker of the event will be Naomi Yamamoto, minister of state for small business. She’ll be sharing her vision on how B.C. can be the most small-business friendly province in Canada.

Speakers also will talk about franchising and running a small business, social media, customer service, networking and market research.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Meadow Gardens Golf Course.
