Missing Maple Ridge teen found, now back home

RCMP issued bulletin on Monday

Ridge Meadows RCMP are cancelling their alert for a Maple Ridge teen reported missing on Saturday.

“The teen reported missing has been safely located,” RCMP said on Facebook Wednesday morning.

“She is safe and back home,” said an RCMP spokesman in an e-mail.

The 16-year-old girl left her home Saturday, contacted family briefly on Monday night, then was located safely on Wednesday.

Two other teens reported missing last week were also located and found safe by police.
