On Monday, June 9, 2008, Mr. Albert Buckles of Vegreville, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years.
Albert is survived by his loving family; his wife, Freda; three sons and three daughters, Ken, Mike, Marilyn, Shirley, Bonnie and Ted; grandchildren, Joe (Laura), Michael (Vicky), Tamie (Darren), Steven (Nancy), Lenny (Elyssa), Danny (Angie), Kevin, Karen (Derrick), Cory, Glen (Monica), Jeffrey and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Casey, Jaden, Emma, Ryan, Caitlin, Kendall, Georgia, Tony, Carley, Haley, April, Cody, Keith, Hanna, Wolfgane and Darion. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Gustav and Tillie Buckles; granddaughter, Jodie; siblings, Rose, Sam, Hazel, Joe, Freda, Leona, Theresa and Rich. A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home (7386 Horne Street) in Mission City, B.C. Interment to take place in the Hatzic Cemetery. The Rose Beyond The Wall
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And, as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall . . .
