ROLHEISER - ALBERT JAMES (BUD), November 16, 1923 - January 31, 2005 passed away peacefully at Willingdon Park Hospital. Bud is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Annie, the love of his life, daughter Valerie Patricia and sister Maureen. He is lovingly missed by his son, Brian, daughter Jeanette (Bill), grandsons Kevin and Scott, brother Bill and sister Grace, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bud proudly served in the British Merchant Navy. If we were willing to make the tea, he entertained and educated us all with his vivid stories of the sea. He had a great sense of humour and was a devoted family man. He loved reading, playing the keyboard and guitar, sketching and gardening. He also coached soccer for many years for the South Burnaby Men’s Club. Thank you to family, friends and the staff of Ridge Meadows, Burnaby General, Willingdon Park Hospitals, and the Cancer Clinic for their kindness and support. The Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 4th at 2:00 P.M. in the MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn’s), 11969-216th Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
