Alfred Hume Taylor
July 22, 1935 - March 21, 2017
With great sadness we announce the passing of Alfred Taylor. Alfred is survived by his wife Helen (Elma) of 60 years, his daughter Jeanette (Richard), son Iain (Shari), grandchildren Kevin (Britlyn), Hanna and great-grandchild Colin. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland to Maisie and Alfred (Tommy) Taylor. Alfred immigrated to Vancouver in 1967 where he built a new life for his family. He enjoyed spending time with many close friends over the years. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose support, love and encouragement will never be forgotten. Many thanks to Dr. Larry Lim, Joy, Heather and Sarah and for the compassionate and excellent care provided by McKinney Creek Hospice nurses, staff and volunteers. A Celebration of Life will be held at Legion Branch #88, 12101 224th Street, Maple Ridge, B.C. V2X 6B7 on Saturday, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society or McKinney Creek Hospice.
