Alice Frances passed away peacefully at Ocean View Care Home, White Rock, B.C. in her 91st year on Dec 31, 2005. Born May 20, 1915 in Victoria, B.C., Alice lived all her life in Vancouver, Burnaby and White Rock. Survived by her son Ross; daughter Joan (Jim) Kerr; daughter-in-law Lynne. Grandchildren Scott, Heather, Byron, Ian, Andrew; great grandchildren Jordan, Jacob, Mackenna; niece Judy (Herb) Phillips; nephew John Cole. Alice will always be remembered as a very loving and caring mum, grandma and friend. In her own special way she touched the hearts of all who came in contact with her. Alice's passion in life was working with children and youth and will be fondly remembered as ''Cookie'' by CGIT and campers throughout the lower mainland. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ocean View Care Home for the dedicated care they gave to Mum over the past 8 years. A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Sat Jan 21, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Crescent United Church, 2756 127th St., Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
