ROWBOTHAM, Allan
November 17, 1932 - August 26, 2007
After a heartwarming day surrounded by his family, Allan passed away early Sunday morning in the arms of his wife and two children. He is survived by the "Love of his Life", his wife Stella, and his children Debra (Richard) and David (Laureen). He was adored and will be forever missed by his grandchildren, Bradley, Alexander, Stephen and Sarah and brother in England Kenneth (Pamela).
Although ravaged by a rare and debilitating disease (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), Allan enjoyed visits from family and friends, and in particular a recent visit from Kenneth. He kept his sense of humour and his eyes could speak volumes.
The family thanks Dr. C. Ungar for his compassionate care and support. We thank the staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital and we also thank the wonderful caring staff at McKenney Creek Hospice.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1st at St. John The Apostle Anglican Church, 2208 St. John's Street, Port Moody.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan's name to the B.C. Parkinson's Disease Association, #600 - 890 W. Pender St., Vancouver, B.C. V6C 1J9.
