April 8, 1927 ~ April 19, 2008
Our Mum passed away peacefully on April 19th at Ridge Meadows Hospital. Mum was well known for her community involvement as a long time member of Royal Canadian Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary and Maple Ridge’s Youth Bowling Association. We will miss her sense of humor, her baking, her love of hockey, and her love of quilting and eggery.
She is predeceased by her husband Jim, and survived by her children Harry (Geri), Linda (Bruce) and Jim (Cindy), and the loves of her life, her grand- children Jennifer, Nolan, McKenzie, Corinna (Bob), and great grandsons, Carter and Linden; and her brother Ralph.
In lieu of flowers, donations to B.C. Children’s Variety Club or Canuck Place, would be appreciated.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 1st, 1:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 12101-224th Street, Maple Ridge.
