SILVESTER, Anne (Johanna)
nee Vandekamp/Minderhout
Passed away peacefully on April 4, 2005. Predeceased by her husbands George
Silvester (1991) and Walter Vandekamp (1963) and daughter Judith-Ann (1977).
Lovingly remembered by her sons Richard (Michele) and Gordon (Mary).
Grandchildren: Michael (Lana), Lisa (Josh), Erin and Calen. Great-Granchildren: Tyler, Sebastien and Carter.
Anne was a strong dedicated woman born in Vlissengen, Holland February 20,
1923. Anne immigrated to Canada as a war bride with her husband Walter in 1946 and settled in Powell River, BC. Anne was a devoted wife, mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother who gave of herself freely to those in need. She was a strength to all who knew her.
Keep her strength and love in your hearts always and know she is at peace.
At her request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation (604-463-1822).
