HUIZING - Arent (Art)
March 13, 1928 – Oct. 24, 2006
It pleased the Lord to take our father, grandfather and brother to his heavenly home after these past few years of declining health. Arent is survived by his children Bernie (Kathy) Huizing, Rosaline (Rob) VanDenBoogaard, Marianne Huizing, and Jim Huizing; his grandchildren Elizabeth, Paul, Sarah, Eric, and Felicia VanDenBoogaard, Alex and Moira Huizing; his many -brothers and sisters Lammert (Nely) Huizing, (Betsy) Huizing, Grace (John) Vander Wekken, Bert (Tiny) Huizing, Mina (Walter) Slomp, Janny (John) VanHell, Dina (Henk) Vloo, Ann Van Dorp, Rose (Henk) Kuizenga, Frank (Marie) Huizing, and Dinie (Arie) Schalk. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth of 43 years, his daughter Jeannette, his brother Jan and brother-in-law Harry Van Dorp.
The memorial service celebrating Arent’s life was held at Gateway CRC in Abbotsford, BC on October 27. Arent will be greatly missed by his family.
