AICKEN
Audrey Dorcas (nee Jones)
June 21, 1917 ~ March 15, 2009
Audrey had a lifelong passion for animals and an intolerance of their mistreatment. She loved flowers and music and her home was her castle. It was fussed over and cared for, as were any visitors - and there were many. Her straightforward approach to life and determination to quietly do it her way, was an inspiration. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank Aicken, and a sister Mabel Jones and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Audrey was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Samuel Jones; her brothers Enoch, Allen and Don Jones, and sister Christena Aicken.
