HUMPHREYS
Brent Thomas
(Born in Maple Ridge March 31, 1984 passed away May 28, 2008
at 24 years).
Brent was in a tragic automobile accident seven years ago while on a student exchange trip to Germany. In the accident he sustained a traumatic brain injury, he is now free from his disabilities and soaring among us playing the guitar and listening to his favourite rock bands. He is survived by his loving mother Linda (stepfather Terry); Father Tom, Brother Ryan, Sister Kyla, half brother Patrick and step-sister Becky (Darren). His grandparents Pam and Graham Humphreys, step-grandparents Doris and Gordon Stogryn, his favourite Auntie Gail, Uncle Al, cousins Kristine and Rob as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. Additional thanks to his buddies and caregivers at Classic Rehabilitation, with special recognition to Brandi-Lee who is the last of a number of stellar caregivers. In lieu of flowers donations are greatly accepted to School District #42 Yes Foundation in Brent's name, or the brain injury department of BC Children's Hospital. The celebration of Brent's life will be at 1:30 on June 5, 2008 at Fraserview Community Centre, 22610 116th Avenue, Maple Ridge.
