O'NEILL, Bruce Gordon
October 8, 1941 - October 19, 2007
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bruce O'Neill at Whitehorse General Hospital with his daughter Jennifer and niece Sue by his side. Bruce was predeceased be his wife, Joan, of 37 years in 2003.
He is survived be his loving daughter, Jennifer; brother Brian(Marilyn) their children Shana and David and his loving niece, Sue(Ron) Merke. Uncle Bruce will always be in the hearts of his niece and nephew Carly and Jordan Merke.
Bruce was born in Nelson, B.C. and was raised in Maple Ridge, B.C. He spent many years in the Yukon, including Faro and Haines Junction. He was a very active member of both communities, serving as Fire Chief for many years. Bruce's fondest moments were those spent with family and friends. His love, caring and generous ways will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life was held in Haines Junction on October 26, 2007.
