DAYE, Carol (nee Balfour)
Our family is deeply saddened to announce that Carol has passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital on the 14th of October, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Born in Dundee, Scotland on the 4th of January 1959. She was predeceased by her loving Dad on August 18, 2010. Carol will be forever loved and missed by her grieving Mom and her two beloved boys; Sean and Jordan. Also mourning her loss, her brother Grant, sister-in-law Erin and nephew and niece Scott and Amy. Carol will be sadly missed by her many friends, and her co-workers past and present at the TD Bank where she was a teller for many years. Thank you to the doctor's and staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital for the kindness and care Carol received the 3 weeks she was there. There will be no funeral by request, but a gathering of family and friends for a memorial tea will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 - 224th St, Maple Ridge from 1 - 4 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2010. In lieu of flowers donations to Mckenney Creek Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
