It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we share the passing of Carol May Tonnellier.
Carol was born and raised in Haney where she attended Albion Elementary and graduated from Garibaldi High school.
She was a very talented artist, decorator, cook and a great protector of her siblings and close friends. All dogs were her friends. She was always there to help people she knew and didn't know.
After moving to Pender Island with her husband Larry and her dog Cobber, she made many friends and loved to volunteer at the Nu-Tu-You and the Legion, always with a plate of goodies to share.
She fought a brave, hard battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her father Pat and leaves to mourn, her husband Larry, her mother Mable, siblings Florence (Shane), Joanne (Lawrence), Jackie (Tony), Patrick and Allan, as well as many nieces, nephews, close friends and her companion Jellybean.
A celebration of Life will be held at Joanne's house, 23704 106 Avenue, Maple Ridge, April 27th, 2:00 - 5:00. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society in Carol's name would be appreciated.
