FREEMAN, Charles Alexander (Lex)


born April 11th, 1908 in Mission, BC. Passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, October 28th, 2006 at Willow Manor in Maple Ridge. Predeceased by his loving wife Alice (nee Talbot) and later by his long time friend Florence Hooper. Survived by his brother, Claude and many family and friends. Lex grew up in the Kitsilano and Kerrisdale neighbourhoods of Vancouver. During World War Two Lex served in the Merchant Navy and was a long time employee of Imperial Oil. As a young man Lex was lovingly referred to as "Naughty Lex" by his mother.

What a wonderful life. A service will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 11:00 am at St. John The Divine Anglican Church, 21299 River Road, Maple Ridge, BC (604)463-5733, a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
