WALTON

In Loving Memory of

Clarence Duncan (Kelly) Walton

July 18, 1921 – September 21, 2008

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father Kelly. He passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital with his daughter by his side. Kelly was predeceased by Isabel, his loving wife of 53 years. Kelly is survived by 3 sons, Griff (Dianne), David (Caroline), Syd (Valerie), and 1 daughter Karen-Ann (John) Cobb, grandchildren Toni, Tyler, Sarah, Dale, and Joseph, 1 brother Ron (Nora), many nieces, nephews and friends. Dad was born in Duncan, B.C. and was the youngest of 9 children. The family relocated to Camrose, Alberta where the family homesteaded until 1940 when they moved to Haney, B.C. Kelly married Isabel in 1948. Kelly worked for the Provincial Government in Corrections for 31 years and when he retired from Corrections started a new career in Real Estate. Kelly always had a great sense of humour and was a big tease. In his twilight years he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and trips to the Casino. A Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, September 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn’s), 11969 - 216th Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dad’s memory to Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation.
