ERSKINE, Dale McClelland
May 21st 1933 ~ April 4th 2010
Dale passed away peacefully at age 76, in the company of his loved ones, on Easter Sunday. He is survived by his beloved wife Reta, children Andy (Christine), Dale (Kari) and Leah, his sister Gladys, and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by his parents, Doris Erskine and William Beecham, who he missed very much throughout the years.
Dale was born in Bentley, Alberta, but lived almost his entire life on the family farm in Albion, BC. Dale enjoyed life's simple pleasures, such as lifting weights, time with his family, watching wrestling, playing his fiddle and guitar, sun tanning in his rubber boots and going for coffee with his good friends Ray and Irving. But his most favorite moments were spent with his wife Reta, tending to the farm and animals. The family would like to thank Dr. Chapman, and all of the kind nurses at Ridge Meadows Hospital for their care and support. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 12th, 2010 at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 - 224th St, Maple Ridge.
