Bohanna, Douglas Lang
After a long and courageous fight, at 83 years old, Dad passed away peacefully on August 7, 2005 at Ridge Meadows Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved Kay (1997), he is survived and lovingly remembered by Graham (Jenny) and Julie of Australia, Stuart of Maple Ridge, and Katie (Randy) of Coquitlam. In Australia he is also survived and lovingly remembered by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, his brother John and his sister Hazel, and extended family Derrick, Margaret and their 3 children. Dad was born to be an adventurer whether it was going to England to serve his country in WWII, immigrating to Canada in 1967 or later building his own sail boat from a dry haul, Dad dedicated himself to the task at hand. He touched so many lives with his helping hand. Dad will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of this life will be held August 16th, 2005 at 1:00pm at the Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 224th St., Maple Ridge , B.C. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to support his favorite charity, the Salvation Army.
