BRIGHAM – Dr. James Albert.

Born Fort William, Ontario April 4th, 1941 passed away at Ridge Meadows Hospital December 11th, 2005 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Anne and sons Doug (Alexis), Kolby and Kyler and brother Robert (Anne), Alexandra and Derek. Jay was a founding member of the Faculty of Okanagan College and was instrumental in the creation of Okanagan University College. He taught in the English Department of the respected institution and was a well recognized Lawrence Durrell scholar. A special thank you to Dr. and Mrs. Fernandes, the nurses at Ridge Meadows Hospital and Mr. and Mrs. Whitchurch. A Memorial Service and Wake will be held at the family home on Saturday, January 7th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. where Jay’s life will be celebrated.
