Elma Hemminger (Sawatzky)
Passed away peacefully on Dec. 8, 2010 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Julius. She is survived by 3 sisters, 6 brothers, 5 daughters, 2 sons, a goddaughter, many grand- children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Elma was also the mother figure for 53 foster children during her lifetime. Her infectious laughter and smiling face will be greatly missed by all of those who have known and loved her. The family would very much like to thank all of the caring staff at Baillie House, where Elma so enjoyed her final years.
