BARNETT ~ Ethel Rose
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 29, 1916. Mom left us peacefully April 4th, 2008 at Willow Manor.
She resided in Maple Ridge for over thirty-five years. She was employed at Riverview Hospital and was a life time member of the BCGEU. Mom was predeceased by her husband, William John , sister Marjorie Bishop and step-son Jack (Hilda) Barnett.
Mom is survived by her dearest friend and sister Vi Scott, sons Larry (Wendy) and Bob (Maureen), step-daughters Pat and Mickey. Nephews Wayne (Beth), Jim (Carol), Glen (Pat), and nieces Linda and Carol (Mike).
The diamonds surrounding our garnet were her seven grandchildren: Sherrie (Kem), Lana (Scott), Nick (Dana), Terra, Lindsey (Ray), Allison (Greg) and Jill (Mark) and 16 great-grandchildren: Calvin, Kirsten, Garrett, Kassy, Levi, Ashley, Robert, Danielle, Dawson, Courtenay, Lyndon, Andrew, Stephanie, Conner, Noel, Kylie and Vegas the Cat. The funeral will be held Wednesday April 9th 2008 10:00 am at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, 21299 River Road, Maple Ridge, B.C.
In lieu of flowers anyone wishing to do so can send a donation to the Alzhiemers Society of BC.
