It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eunice Margaret McConaghy (nee Sanderson) on Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Maple Ridge, B.C. Born June 28, 1916 in Saskatoon, SK, she lived most of her life in Vancouver. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh Edson, her brother Septimus Sanderson and sister Annie Lambert. Eunice is survived by her three daughters, Melaine (Frank) Riley, Mary (Randy) Blackstock and Amanda (Alexander Watt) McConaghy; four grandchildren, Jim (Shana) Lamb, Teresa (Jon) Lutjen, Sarah Blackstock, Rhonwen Blackstock; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Lamb, Shelby Lamb, Jamie Lamb and Haley Lutjen; cousin Mildred "Mickey" (Jim) Snell; niece Patricia Lovell, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Eunice was trained as a book-keeper/accountant and worked for a number of years before devoting herself to her family. A life-long love of bridge, painting and golf brought her great enjoyment and many friends. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.
