GOOD ~ Florence Annie

Passed away peacefully at her residence at Berwick on the Park in Kamloops B.C. on March 7, 2006. Florence was born February 14, 1914 the youngest daughter of Dan and Louise Hallacy of Foxwarren Manitoba. She was predeceased by her Husband Bert of 64 years, in January 2005 and by her sisters Ivy Newsham and Bertha Johnson both of Winnipeg Manitoba.

Florence is survived by her son Bryan (Joan) of Smithers BC, son Terry (Diane) of Prince George and daughter Sharron Andersen (Tom) of Kamloops. She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Heather Good of Calgary, Alan Good of Fort St. John, Cindy Gouschuk, Curtis Good, and Danielle Lee of Prince George, Chris Andersen and Amy Rudichuk of Kamloops. There are 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who also share the loss.

Florence wed Herbert Good of Lenore, Manitoba in 1940 and following Bert's service overseas lived in Winnipeg and Morden, Manitoba; Vancouver, Maple Ridge, Westbank and Kamloops. Florence was a devoted mother and housewife to her growing family. Once her family grew up, she worked for several years at a cannery in Maple Ridge where she made some lasting friendships. Florence took pride in her excellent baking and her beautiful flower gardens.

The family would like to thank the nurses and care aids at Berwick on the Park for their care of Florence in these last few months. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. #300 - 828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1E2.
