GROCHOWICH, Frances (Szczerba)
Born May 3, 1937, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2008. Cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Steve Grochowich of 52 years, her son Dale (Nancy) Grochowich, two daughters Debbie Grochowich (Owen Frank), Penny (Clint) Cowderoy, three granddaughters Amanda Grochowich, Katrina Cowderoy, and Alisha Cowderoy. Survived by sisters, Mary Hucal and Lil Rebien from Nelson, many neices and nephews, and extended family. Fran was a beautiful, loving, generous person that was completly devoted to her family and home. With an indomitable spirit she faced her illness with humour and courage. A special thanks to Dr.Kaumi, Dr. Noble and the wonderful staff at the RCH Medical Daycare, Vancouver Cancer Clinic and home Care nurses for all the wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation. Memorial Service to be held on Sat. July 19, 2008 at 11:00 am at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel 11969-216th Street, Maple Ridge.
