Gladys (Meghbati) Singh
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved matriarch, Gladys, on January 22, 2008. Born in March 1919 in Windsor Forest, Guyana, she is predeceased by her husband Omrow, eldest son Mohan and sons-in-law Ronald and Jack.
She is survived by: her eldest daughter-in-law Rajdai of Florida: seven children Rambeer ( Annie) of Florida, Bharat (Aileen) of England, Sheila (Jai) of Florida, Lucille (Sew) of New York, Savo of Boston, Indra of Maple Ridge, and Leelowtie (Joe) of Maryland; 34 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great- grandchildren. Viewing will be 2:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday, January 27th at the MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn's), 11969–216th Street Maple Ridge, BC. Funeral will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday January 29th at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gladys’ name to the Maple Ridge Baptist Church.
