HOLYOKE, Gordon E.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Holyoke of Maple Ridge, BC on May 23rd at the age of 71 years of age.
Gordon was born on June 12, 1938 in Maple Ridge, New Brunswick. He has spent an adventurous life, spending time in the Royal Canadian Navy, taught school in Fredericton, New Brunswick, worked at Chrysler Canada in Windsor, Ontario, and immigrated to Arizona in the United States. He returned home to Canada in 2006, residing in British Columbia. He was also an aspiring actor. He is predeceased by his first wife of 18 years, Anne Holyoke, in 1978. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and his children Kelly, Christopher, David and Dawn and eight grandchildren. Many thanks to the caring, professional staff at the Ridge Meadows Hospital. Their kindness was very much appreciated. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Riverside Condo on 11510 225th Street, Maple Ridge, BC at 3PM on Friday May 28, 2010.
