KICKBUSH, Helen (Nellie Hannah)

Nellie was born in the family home on McIntosh St., Haney, B.C. on Nov. 3, 1929. Passed away at Ty Watson House, Port Albernie, B.C. Aug. 27, 2010, after years of C.O.P.D. and cancer. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Nancy Hannah in 1993, and her husband Warren in 2002. Survived by her children Penny (Mick) Earthy, Port Albernie, B.C. Debbie (Bill) Powell, Kamloops, B.C., Drew (Denise) Kickbush, Grand Prairie, Alta., her Grand- children Bill (Leanne)) Powell. Steven (Laura) Powell, Joanne (Thomas) Palmeira, Norman Earthy, Sydney and Raina Kickbush as well as her Great Grand children, Ashley Powell, Reston and Kennedy Palmeira. She is also survived by her siblings Nan (Bill) McConochie, Courtenay, B.C., Andy (Joan) Hannah, Maple Ridge, B.C., Bob (Loie) Hannah, Maple Ridge, B.C., George Hannah, Prince George, B.C., Betty (John) Zaharia, Maple Ridge, B.C and many nieces and nephews. Nellie lived in Port Albernie, B.C. since 1953, where she was an active member of the R.C. Legion, Ladies Auxiliary. Through the years she enjoyed her softball, bowling and fishing, her Children, Grand Children and Great Grand Children were a very special part of her life. A Memorial Tea was held in the R.C. Legion Branch #169 Hall on Aug. 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
