It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sue; mother Nellie, brother Max, children Sherrie (Stu), Miriam, and Barb (Walt). Grandchildren, Nicole, Lisa, Kathleen, Jennifer, John, Amy, Daniel, great granddaughter Autumn, nieces, nephews and many friends. Pre-deceased by his father, Mike, brothers Richard & Larry and sister Elizabeth. Ron spent most of his working career at Hammond Mill for 45 years before he retired in 2005. Memorial Service was held Tuesday, March 2nd in the MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn’s). Rev. Danny Griffin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
