TEUNISSEN,Hubert
Passed away peacefully on Saturday August 8th 2009. Born in Surabaya Indonesia on April 11th 1929, came to Maple Ridge in 1966 where he continued to grow and raise his family. Hubert leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years Cato Teunissen. Pre-deceased by his siblings, daughter Grace Teunissen and son-in-law Ed Bijl. He had a large and loving family that will miss him greatly; his children: Ellen (Jim), Jeff (Bonnie), Joyce, Hans (Alex), Audry (Ross), his grand children: Cliff, Jeff (Allison), Darrel (Stephanie), Cheryl (Chris), Andrew (Sam), Cary, James, Joey, Lisa (Dan), Danny, Amanda, Anyse, Hunter, Jason and Austin as well as 15 great grandchildren, his nephew Ernst (Angelica) and his sister-in-law Pep. Our Opa was a proud veteran, husband, friend and family man who leaves us with no regrets. Service will be help on Thursday August 13th at 1pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765-224th Street Maple Ridge (viewing prior). The family would like to offer our sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at MRH for their wonderful care in his final days and his family physician Dr. Lytle for 40yrs of care.
