DANILUCK-Jack passed away on May 24, 2005 at Ridge Meadows Hospital Jack was born in Poland and emigrated with family to Canada in 1930. He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn, he is survived by son Bruce, daughter Gail, grandchildren Julia, Jenna and their mother Luciana, brother Andrew (Geraldine), and many close friends.
The family homesteaded in the Dome Creek area and later settled in Vancouver.
Jack graduated from Technical School and then served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW2. He married Evelyn Hargreaves and raised his family in Northern BC. He worked for over 30 years for the CNR in Western Canada. During his years in Smithers he also served as a Magistrate, Juvenile Court Judge and Coroner. He spent his retirement years in Maple Ridge. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 30 at 2:30 P.M. at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765-224th Street, Maple Ridge with the Rev. Lorin Koss officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation. The family wish to express their special thanks to Dr. Botting and Dr.Kotylak and the incredible staff at GardenView Manor for their wonderful love and care.
