CLARK, JAMES WILLIAM 1923 - 2005

Passed away peacefully on February 03, 2005. He was a loving and devoted husband to wife Velaine for 60 years. Wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather to daughter Christine (Herve); grandsons Vince (Landa), Jason (Shannon); great granddaughters, Jordan, Hailey and Madellyn. He is survived by sister Ivy, brothers Vic, Eric, and Fred. Predeceased by sister Frances, brothers Ken and Richard. Bill served his country with honor and distinction overseas in WW II. Returning home to his beloved Canada to marry the love of his life Velaine in August of 1945. His passion for family, friends, outdoors, and gardening filled his days when not working for Shellburn Refinery in a maintenance capacity and supervisor for 37 years. Bill will be sadly missed not only by his loving family including many nieces and nephews, but many caring friends as well. A Celebration of life and tribute to his military service will be held at Legion #133 at 2675 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam on Friday, February 11 at 12:30 P.M.
